About Me

I am a 22 year old student currently in my final year studying an honours degree in Interior Design at The University of Central Lancashire. I have always had an interest in Architecture and Design and at the age of 18 I left full time work to go back to college to study a full time Interior Design course at Wigan & Leigh College.

I love my family, I love my friends and I LOVE LIFE! :)

I have recently just started a new job working weekends at Home Bargains, the days are very long but I enjoy working there and all the other staff seem really nice! Working weekends fits in well with University because it means I can concentrate fully on my Uni work through the week and also because my new job also pays weekly which is perfect for a student because I can budget easier. 

Apart from work and University in my spare time I enjoy seeing friends, cooking, walking, shopping, visiting historical buildings and to be honest anything to do with nature like gardening, bird and animal watching, pond fishing, sitting on the grass and just relaxing and walking through woods, fields, countryside.

I am and always have been really close with my family, I really don't know what I would do without them! The picture above is taken either 1997 or 1998 doing what we love to do best on holidays! From the left you have my sister Alex, dad Nick, mum Jane, me and in the middle our much beloved (unfortunately no longer with us) dog Scruff!

Below is all of us at least 12 years on (in 2011) at my sisters wedding, marrying the love of her life Carl!

Here (above) are 3 of my closest friends all celebrating my 'Onesie' themed 22nd birthday! From the left you have Jamie, who I have known 7/8 years, me, Lorna who I have known 18 years and Dupes who I have known 6/7 years.
Below are 3 of the best people I have met at University (again celebrating my birthday). From the left you have Amy studying Photography, Me, Paul studying Japanese and Henna studying fashion, I lived with Amy & Henna in my first year at Uni and we then shared a house with Paul for the 2nd year, unfortunately Paul & Henna wont be studying in Preston for my final year but I have some amazing memories with them and I am very much looking forward to living with Amy, Jamie & Jonathan (above) 

And a final mention to some of the people that I am really good friends with on my course!! 

Below are just a few of them as we have never really had a 'group photo.' I think that if it wasn't for these guys I probably wouldn't be where I am now, they have always been there for me and helped me as I have them and I'm very glad I met them!
